about EverGreen, the Tree Treasurers of Charlotte County Since 1990, EverGreen has communicated with citizens and government in effort to keep some of Southwest Florida’s natural areas special for posterity and to make our urban areas more livable. EverGreen has initiated forums, debates, lectures and panel discussions in order to educate members of the community about limited natural resources. Charlotte County, Florida is one of the fastest growth areas in the United States. Our organization publishes (the land journal) The Pine Cone, an environmental newsletter. Memberships and donations are the source of income. Since 1995, EverGreen has been recognized by the federal government as a 501.c(3), a not for profit tax exempt organization. |
